hey, i just wanted to get some opinions on what you guys think would be a good set up for a 500whp integra (street/track car) to get some decent traction. i plan to go with the mfactory lsd, so what axles would you recommended/ how much can the stock axles take? , what suspension would be best for street driveability / track fun ( for a good price ) , and what tires should i try ..... i see that you guys don't really like 17s, do you think i should keep my stock 15s that came on my gsr and put some 205s on there? or is that not gonna be wide enof?

Go for Ground Control coilovers and some Tokico ILKs, with 10k front and 8k rear. that's what Dylan says is good, and i don't doubt his integrity. I'd probably get some cambers as well just to be on the safe side. 17s don't really synergize well with some custom spring/shocks sometimes, but eh. Tires I'm not too familiar with. I'd probably get some 205s with your stock 15s as well, sounds like the best plan. Don't know about axles. Good luck :thumbs up

500whp? You're going to need purpose drag slicks to have traction.... the setup is simple enough, my friend has just over 500whp with forged pistons, eagle rods, and valvesprings & retainers with stock gsr cams and a full-race turbo kit. And he uses stock axles and hasn't had a problem, he actually blew out a transmission before the axles broke. I think blox or omni power make good drag coilovers, or any good brand coilover will help a lot. Or even just a coilover-spring and shock combo like the ground controls and tokico, or kyb, or koni shocks.

as for wheels and tires, just for looks buy whatever wheels you like, but if you want traction with 500whp, you're going to need some really wide and sticky tires AKA drag slicks. You might be able to get some okay traction if you buy some good ass tires like Nitto NT01's, they are cornering tires, but they hook pretty good for me on launches at 6k rpms. Or you can try out some drag radials, they are still street-legal, like BF goodrich drag radials, Nitto NT555R's, mickey thompsons, etc.

i am not to sure of what the coilover specs mean (like 10k 8k) so i am going to have to do some research, thanks for the help
