Yes. In cali anything over 8k and colors other than blue, white or yellow are illegal.
Visibility sucks if you dont have anything on the road that reflects back at you:???:... street signs and anything reflective shines bright... but as for driving and on the black pavment they suck... my boy has them in his Rangerover and they look cool but not worth your $80+... maybe for fog lamps
Any temperature (color) is all illegal when installed in Integra headlights. It is illegal to install an HID system into any halogen housing anywhere in the U.S., regardless of where you live. The NHTSA is a federal agency, there laws are not written state by state.jznsN2u said:
They would need to be put in a housing designed for a HID bulb. That is why people do retrofits to install S2000, TL, etc. projectors. They are designed for HID bulbs so they are not illegal, they do have a cut off to keep from blinding people and the refelctor is designed to make the most out of the light pattern.
