Purchasing 91 Integra ls, needs some care.

Hi, im new to the site and two doors for that matter. Im purchasing a 91 ls shortly. It needs strut work, ball joint, and a new exhaust system. I hope it wont run over 500 bucks, i have a friend thats going to fix it. Whats a decently priced exhaust system? There is a leak on*the*passengers*side near the glove box, im not sure what that is. I heard it might be a ac tube plugged. There is also some cosmetic issues like on the top of the wind shield. Please inform me on how to care for the cosmetic parts and how to generally care for the car. It has 45; on it. I dont really want to pimp it, just want performance. Whats a sleeper? Thanks

Not many "good" exhausts for less than $500. For budget, some people like Yonaka.
As for the leak, its most likely the cowl leak. Very, very common. There are these clear rubber grommets under the cowl, you need to replace those and the foam seal that is there also. That should fix the leak. Also, check the sunroof drain tubes. They come undone sometimes, or the one way valve gets clogged up.

you may be better off going to a pick n pull or salvage yard and looking for a descent exhaust to get you by. you would be suprise at what you can find...

otherwise the cheapo ebay exhaust systems will get you by with a little modification as the hangers tend to be off a little. 120 dolla make you holla LOL

could also be the sunroof drain tubes are clogged bets way to test that theory is to open the sunroof, and pour water slowly into the side channels. you should see water draining out near the front and rear mudflaps if the tubes are clear
