Pulleys?-In search of more power

I was thinking of anything that can give me some more hp the other day and I remembered pulleys. Are the AEM pulleys good?
Are pulleys worth the money? I don't really have anything else to modify n/a...

Current Supporting mods:
intake
header (2-piece, 4-2-1)
cat-delete
side exit exhaust cutout
ngk iridium spark plugs
royal purple synthetic oil

The only thing we have left to upgrade is pretty much, pulleys, districutor cap, cams, and plug wires. We got a buddy who's going to give my brother a MSD cap for free, so...... Gota get wires, then idk either pulleys or cams....

nothing on your list is going to give you any sort of advantage over stock... you want power? start actually building your car....

Like tearing apart the motor and installing cams, pistons, rods and shit? That's hella work and I don't trust anyone else to do that ish... The only thing I would want to touch is the headwork... Like cams, retainers, springs, valves, etc. Anything in the bottom end will retain stockness... Unless I buy another LS motor that my buddy is selling for $100, then I could build that up while it's not in the car so it's easier; then wham! Install it..... Interesting ideas come floating into my head..... I could wham it up with a B16 tranny onto that LS motor too....... Me likey these ideas.... :)

B16 tranny, on a ls block with a vtec head that you could buy off the side too... Build everything, then swap it all in one weekend.

That's more the planning you need to get the power noticed I think you're looking for...

Go do some homework on what engine internals would be good for you... Honda-tech has a lot of good information if you can't find any here.

:thumbs up

ya bolt ons will only get you soo far... eventually you will have to start tearing the engine apart.

oh... well isnt suspension going to allow him to put the power to the road better?
an LSD tranny would put the power to the road better :)
suspension doesnt NECESSARILY put the POWER to the road better..but it does allow the car to handle, and ride much better.

Yeah forgot about the suspension ALSO. My brother wants some TEIN coilovers soon, (I thought HKS made coilovers? Checked their site and didnt find anything...) and then he's going to get the full setup of strut bars (front up, rear up, front lower, rear lower, c-pillar bar) And then eventually front and rear sway bars. Planning to possibly Autocross it sometime.

Fk vtec! lol! I could also buy this motor of the buddy, and throw this turbokit I have just sitting around onto the motor after a rebuild... The turbokit is actually FROM an Integra GSR. Only thing I need is a manifold, injectors and boost controller... I'll see if my buddy still has the motor, and i'll start saving up for it. Damn! Gota find room! I've got my wrecked AE86 Corolla still sitting on the side of the house wasting space lol.

welllll....... Get that Corolla out of the way damnit! lol

Suspension is almost a must if you want to autocross... My car has the stock 1.5 motor in it and I'm going to build up my suspension for autox before I do any sort of major engine work.... 100hp had me beating GTO's, Mustangs, and TT's, at this course on my stock 13" wheels with econo tires... HP isn't everything.

Yeah, especially in close cornering Autocross races. I remember WAY back in the day, my dad owned a hella sick white DA Integra with a K&N intake, and a Monza mufler; and he was out at the Autocross spanking on corvettes and camaros and sh*t. I dont remember having any suspensino upgrades either. Hella pimp buisness. i think after he came home and told me and my brother the results; I think thats when my bro fell in love with Integras. Now he's got one!

Both me and my brother like building All-Around cars. Build up motor for power, and then mod the snot out of the suspension also; and tires too. My Jetta is all stock suspension except for lowering springs, and it handles very well for having a giant ass 2.8liter V6 in the front. I am 100% sure that my jetta would get owned in the Autocross by my brothers Integra though; Integra is lightweight. Straightaway wise though; that's a WHOLE different story.
