proper adjustment of cable clutch

the pedal feels so tight...its so tight its actually hard to prevent from stalling out, (pedal rases so fast)...

so what would the steps be.....to completely re-adjust the clutch cable? so i can see what the problem is...if it needs a new clutch...in 5th gear...if i gas it hard...it doesnt slip...so i assume the disk is still good...

i have the manual for the 88-89 tegs up on the 1st gen forums as a sticky, some of the motor parts are different b/c of your style dizzy, but the tranny and such is the exact same, that should have the answer to all those questions. but to the best of my memory it's just the hand adjustment in the front of the tranny, tighten it up until the cable is snug with the arm and your good. too much and u'll wear ur clutch out.
