Projection Headlights

Projector Headlights

My headlights on my integra look terrible. The driver side are yellow, and there is also a sort of perspiration on the inside part of the headlights. It just happened last time it rained, and the headlight is still covered with perspiration on the inside part.
The passenger side headlight are just foggy, and look more white than clear.
I was looking at the headlights the other day and noticed I couldnt see the bulb through the headlight.
Do the integras come with projector headlights?

I have been looking at projector headlights, but was told by a friend I would have to get a wiring conversion kit, (if thats what it is even callled), in order for the HID's (assuming Projector headlights only use HIDs or LEDs) to work for the new projection headlights. Is this true?
I want to get Projector headlights with black housing, like these...

Do i need to get the wiring kit? What kind of bulbs do I need to get? I have absolutely no idea about this.
I appreciate any help, I want my headlights looking good again!

Note- I have seen the post on how to clean your headlights, and i am going to try it, but i still want the headlights in the link above, I like them a lot.

new headlights need no new wiring kit or anything, depending on if you wanna do HID's or Halo, which are the black housing ones. You can just take the old headlights out and put the new ones in place and insert bulb like on the old headlights. But for Halo's (which are the black projectors your looking at) you have to wire in the LED ring. I would say just buy OEM replacements, if you can, because the halos dont have as good of light output as an OEM replacement. I would also recommend HID's if you want more light out put than the OEM halogen bulbs.

Keep on Truckin
try cleaning your headlight lens's. rub polishing compound on the head lights in little circles untill they start to clear up. then, after all 15 minutes at most per side, apply a thin layer of wax to each side to keep them looking fresh!

Cortez Banks, you said, "new headlights need no new wiring kit or anything, depending on if you wanna do HID's or Halo."
Are you basically saying there are two options. To buy OEM replacements and use Halogen or HID bulbs. OR to buy the halo projector halo headlights?
What different bulbs can you use with the OEM? Just halogen or HIDs, or both can be used.
AND
What different bulbs can you use with the black projector halo headlights?HID's or LED's, both can be used?

Okay so I would like to do HID's i have decided.
Can I get the headlights I was looking at, get HID blubs and just put them in and the headlights will work, but the halo LED ring will not work (it wont emmit light), because for that I would have to get the wiring kit?
Are they called halo just because of that ring , and from what you said that ring is a LED light?

I dont know anything about this, but after looking at this website, i assumed that if you would like to use HID lights, you would need to buy a wiring conversion kit.

But the description says many European cars come with it already, stock. So the for integras you dont need to buy something like that?

What i meant was that if you want new headlights ( the actual housing) there is no new wiring needed. Just replace the housing. If you want halo rings there is minor wire splicing involved, i had them previously. The halo LED ring is just an additional wire that needs to be spliced into an existing wire, when i had mine i wired it into the turn signal wires so i could have the Halo's on without having the actual headlight on (as seen in my sig)

There are Plug and Play HID kits (we have sponsors that sell them) that you need NO additional wiring, just plug into existing plugs.
You can use halogen bulbs or HIDs as a light output source in the OEM housing or Black Halo housing

Hope that clears things up. Let me know if you have more questions.
I actually have my old set of Halo Headlights just sitting around, if you want i could take pics if you would like to buy them off me. i will sell cheap

Are your older halo headlights of black housing like the ones that i was looking at? If so, yea take some pics and post em.

The reason I want to do these headlights, as oppossed to OEM lights, is because OEM lights are like $225-$250 EACH, not a pair. A pair of these black halo projector headlights are $200 for the PAIR.

So, I do not need to spend 130.00 dollars on the "plug n play kit." Do you have a how-to or directions with pictures on what you did (splicing of what wire connected to your turn signal...ect).

alright, well here's the way i did it.
remove the bumper and install the headlights like you would any OEM replacement. you may want to zip tie the little black box somewhere: my driver side wiring harness got bit by the p/s belt because i wasn't that careful with it.

run the two wires from the halo close to the corners. The positive wire(at least on a 94) is the green/red, and the negative wire is the black. i used the outside turn signal because it exhibits this behavior:
lights off: halo only comes on during turn signal.

lights on: power given to halo, halo flashes when turn signal on. oddly enough it alternates with the turn signal which actually looks kind of cool.

another nice feature of this is if you put the parking lights on, the headlights stay off and the halos are the only thing lighting up within the four bubbles.

here's a pic of the wiring i did: i just twisted the wires together and taped. haven't had a problem with them in the 11 months since they've been installed. I'd recommend baking them/resealing though, because the fogging/water in headlights kinda sucks.

Never Mind, I found out today HID lights are extremely expensive.
I still want to get those black projector headlights.
Besides Halogen and HID bulbs what other kinds are there? I am confused on what bulb I should use with this new pair of projector headlights, I do not want to use the same cheap halogen lights I have been using, because inside my current driver side headlight is a yellowish color covering the housing.

if i were you id just use the halogen, i dont know of any other. Then wait for a HID groupbuy by one of the sponsors. Thats how i got my HID kit for $85.

nevermind that was a stupid question, they are obviously black, in that one pic on the outside it kinda looks like carbon fiber. So are those 2 red wires and 2 white wires the wires that you would connect to your turn signal wires?
