Power window help

1990 acura integra GS, driver side power window switch apparently stuck in the down position, pops fuses, cant get window up. Is there a way to get the window up without a switch?

you can take the door panel off and push it up manually... but thats about it. gotta be careful too. i would try replacing the switch and motor and actuator. may make it work again.

if the switch is stuck the motor wants to keep working and the motor wants more power to overcome any obstacles (the stops) so fuse goes out due to motor wanting more current to overcome the obstacle. One way to get the window back up is the following. Its a down and dirty way:
Basically, diconnect window switch (dont reconnect at all), replace fuse, turn ignition to power accessories, jump white/yellow wire to red/blue wire and diconnect when window is at desired height.
or just replace switch, and then replace fuse.

Tell me what happens.

Oh and make sure red/yellow wire is grounded
