i looped mine at the rack. i just reused the U hose at the bottom of the pump and some random fittings.

it'll be a bitch to turn while youre stopped, but if you just creep it forward/backward, its pretty easy. a lot easier than just taking the belt off.

You could rebuild the pump. It's really not that difficult, just take your time.

I'm thinking of looping it but i have a DA and with DAs there is the VSS so that's also why i wanted to know if i really have to do all that stuff about messing with the insides of the rack or can i just loop it and be done with it. Cause the only two threads I found for DAs say to change is cause it feels better but i dont wanna mess with that since I can't use the school garage right now (summer vacation) but for non DA says nothing about changing anything.

So basically for DAs can i just loop it and be done with it??? Or do i have to change all of those think like the link in the OP?

i had this exact same problem, nothing work except rebuilding the pump, just replace all the seals, but for months i had squealing belts bc of this and after the rebuild it was finnally fine

I'm thinking of looping it will i have time to rebuild it also cause i need to buy other stuff for her right away like a camber kit
