power Induction question

Ok so I've just bought my 94 integra LS thats completely stock. I dont know too much about B18 personally besides what Ive read. I've heard "what you pay for is what you get" but I'm trying to be open-minded. I'm just trying to power up my daily driver with out ruining this engine that has over 177,000 miles on it. I was looking on craigslist and ebay and performance website and I found this electric turbo

I was thinking about using the 1st black one because I'm a poor college student with a limited budget.

My friends tell me to stay off ebay because their stuff is crap but I dont really know any people in shops so I dont have any hook ups. Has anyone ever used one of these or seen one of these. Please give me some input or advice that would help us to become more knowledgeable because everyone i ask just say, "uggh, ebay sellls crap"

my two cents: My friend has a car with ebay intake and exhaust, works for him. I personaly buy parts off of ebay but they are name brand such as AEM (jdm-in-stock is the store i buy from) I personally think that you should save your money to buy something you really want. The ebay part, you cant determine their durability and they may cause more harm then good. I unerstand being a college student becausse i am one, just save for crower 404's and some new pistons

i don't have time to dig up the results, but these things do not work. these things have shown LOSSES of power due to their designs and how little air they actually "force".

from someone who's been in the game for a while, trust me. don't waste your money. better off just buying a K&N Filter for your stock intake, and then remove the resonator etc.

you'll get good sound, and slightly better performance.

make your own intake. get some piping from lowes and get to work. one 90 degree should get the job done.

They are just restrictions in the intake path. They do not flow enough air to prove beneficial
