On the driver door the power door lock makes a clicking sound when locking the door. What is the problem?

mine has the same problem, I tore a part the door and it's like when the locking mechanism moves the metal bar doesn't, don't know how to fix. I just have to lock the door from the out side now. power lock does unlock and lock pass but not driver side door. sorry haven't figured it out yet. I'll work on it tomorrow and let you know if I figure it out.

My 97 GSR does the same thing. But its my passenger door. I'll use the remote an it clicks when i hit the lock twice. an then when i'm sitting inside the car and press the lock to lock the doors it clicks and then when i unlock it it'll click again.

its on the driver door. when i hit the lock only the driver door makes that repeating noise, but thats only when i lock it either on the inside or the outside.

mine even clicks if i unlock the truck, since you can't pop it but have to unlock it instead.
