4 quarts, but I always buy 5, and flush 1/4-1/2 quart of the fresh through with the drain plug still open, just in case of any residue or anything...but 4 will fill you right up.

Terrible grammar, but yeah, 4.4 quarts. I usually buy a case of oil (6qts) and do 3.5 quarts of oil, and 1 quart of Lucas Oil treatment. Stuff never fails me.

Hell, shell out the money for a K&N oil filter, and you'll never need to buy another one. Just take it off, clean it out, and reinstall. Can't go wrong with that.

The air filter are reuseable, but I can't imagine an oil filter being reuseable. It's a sealed canister, you can't just flush it with water....... Post up your sources for that info, until then I don't believe it.

go to walmart and buy the huge gallon oil.... mobil 1 synthetic 5w30, saves you money instead of buying each quart

i always get the 5 quarts to because its cheaper, and after filling up i usualy just save the rest for incase i burn or leak any or for the next oil change, but running it through to clean all the old oil off still clung to shit sounds like a great idea. thanx for the tip.
