plastic hose and a black box?!

when i was removing the head (with intake manifold still attached) i didnt notice a hard plastic hose that ran directly into a black container from the bottem of the manifold. i guess a picture would be smarter. but i need to order another because it broke. awsome. what is the name of the tube?

that frequently happens. its a lower pcv valve hose
