Here are a few pics of my 92 Acura Integra LS 3Dr 5 speed . The car is bone stock, has 150K miles, and some rust at the rear passanger side wheel well, and hatch lid. Otherwise, is is in great shape, and seems to run and drive great with the new clutch I recently installed. I am thinking about doing some minor performance upgrades, to give it a little more. I was wondering if a cold air intake system would wake it up a little, and a free flowing muffler for starters. Would it be better to run cold air, or ram air intake? And what kind of muffler sounds good, deep even tone, not ricey? I dont want a fart cannon that is going to attract unwanted attention, but I want something that sounds nice in the form of a oem type muffler. It has new stock muffler now, but I like to hear my motor's exhaust note, at least a little bit. If anyone has any advice on these two things, It would be great. Thanks!

welcome to club integra :)
good start, find a clean trunk lid on CL or the jy, and get the rust on the wheel well fixed up is where I would start, then look into I/H/E, some exterior mods like lowering and wheels ;)

nice teg man. yes a cai would wake it up, and also change the exhaust note a little. short or full intake is your choice, either one would do the trick but short is much easier to install... as for a nice minor exhaust go with the tanabe medallion, i like loud exhaust

Its more of a blue grey. I dont see many this color, I wonder if it is factory paint? Yes, I plan to tackle the rust on the trunk lid first, and find the missing rear acura symbol, as those problems really throw the car off I think. I am debating if after I do body work, if I should re-paint the trunk lid the same color it is now (if I can find it) otherwise paint it a semi gloss black, with a paint gun of course, no rattle can jobs here. Also, I was looking at mufflers today at advance auto. They had a couple thrush traditional style mufflers, that the guy swore would sound good, and not rappy. There is a turbo muffler, a one just called welded. The welded one is better he says, because it has less performance robbing design than the turbo, and the welded construction makes it much more durable, and had "chamber plates" compared to a loop design like the turbo. If anyone has any advice on these mufflers, let me know. Im wondering if they sound good, too quiet, too loud, or rappy. Any input is appreciacated, and thanks for the warm friendly replys.
