Pic sizing

Can someone please tell me how to resize pics... Ive never had this problem before trying to upload pics onto a thread, i guess my other computer used to just resize them on its own or something... Im not good with computers like that so i need an easy explanation

that either does not work or im doing it wrong, i just tried inserting those tags everyway i culd and nuthing worked...
Wen i used to upload pics when i wuld plug the camera into my computer this thing called the scan wizard or something wuld come up and they wuld download or w.e. and i never had a problem uploading, yet somehow when i wuld want to view them sometimes it wuld take me through all this adobe photocenter shit which i dont even belong to or have installed on my comp... NOW wen i plugged my camera in a few hours ago the scan wizard thing didnt pop up, something from adobe did but it still let me get all the files on my computer and i can view them just only through adobe.
I dont understand y it did that or y everything is way to big and i fuckin hate adobe and all its bullshit i just wana post some pics!!!

i also havent posted pics in a long time so maybe im just an idiot... When i open the post reply part i go down to manage attachments right?
Then once i pick the picture to upload i press open and then it sits in the box waiting to be uploaded and wen i hit the upload button it fails do to size

Hey guys... Seriously culd someone walk me through this quick and easy!? if u want to post pics that are already on your computer what do u do after you open the thread????????????????????????????????????????
