pic request/personal opinion(s) on this Borla Exhaust tip

has anyone here had this exhaust tip on their car? i searched, but didn't find any pictures or anything helpful to me.

the product pics look really good, and i'd love to replace the giant bulky tip of my Greddy SP2 exhaust. but here is what bothers me:

does that mean that both tips equal out to 3"? thats pretty damn big considering that the tip on the SP2 is 4". i want to get rid the big nasty tip on the SP2 for something a little more subtle. and my friend Kyle from G2IC turned me on to this tip (because it KIND OF resembles the tips on the Mugen DA exhaust)

i'd like a nice, clean, and subtle dual tip exhaust, that will fly under the radar, so to speak.

i don't want to have two huge tips, i'd be happier with something along the lines of a dual 2.5" tip.

It has dual 3" tips. That is on the big side for a DA. Dual 2.25"-2.5" would look much better IMO

definitely would look out of place on a DA. are you looking for a tip for the OEM muffler? if so i would stick with an OEM tip...anything bigger will look gaudy and out-of-place.

i do love my sp2, i'm just not fond of the tip. thats the only thing i'm changing.

here is another option i found, early this morning. the only problem is that they are only sold in pairs. so i'd have two "dual tips" so i'd end up selling or trashing one.

2.5" inlet and dual 2.25" outlets. PERFECT.
i was kind of hoping for something that wasn't a slant cut tip, but this will work fine.



GReddy SP2 - gaudy 4 inch tip + that tip = STILL awesome sound and even better looks.
