86 Integra

This is my first post here so I will give a quick break down.
I have an 86 Integra purchased for 450 last week. So far I have put a lower Radiatior hose, new thermostat and gas and it was running pretty good. 250123 miles on it. But today I was driving to work and hit 4000 RPM and it cut out and it was like I hit something. It was really hard, but within a sec. the PGM-FI light was off and it ran fine again. I know that it some point I need to change the Fuel Relay, but what else could cause it to cut out like that??? Could it be timing or just bad plugs?? Or something that i don't know of?? Any help would be awesome!! Thank you in advance.
