pcv issue

My setup is a b18c JR . Now my questions is, if i pull out the pcv valve and replace it with a elbow and some hose routing down, can i just block of the nipple on the neck of the blower? I'm not looking to spend any money on a catch can so i'm just going to route the hoses down from the pcv valve and the valve cover. Anybody out there that dosen't have a catch can and has a similair set up,let me know how u went about doing it.

Dude, that oil catch can will save your motor. You would be suprised at how much oil gets transfrered into the manifold. If you block that plug, all that heat is just going stay traped. I got an oil catch can off ebay for $35 shipped and it works great.

your not understanding what i'm saying, i'm just taking out the pcv valve replacing it with a elbow from the local hardware store and just routing hoses from where the pcv valve was and the valve cover, down under the car.simple
My question was can i just plug the nipple comming out of the neck of the blower, the one that the pcv valve runs into.

I have my valve cover nipple just venting out below the car. I just attached a small length of hose to it and called it a day. The only issue I can see so far is that it seems like the motor is getting alot dirtier alot faster due to the thin layer of oil getting dispersed in the engine bay. I might go to a longer hose to solve the prob.

I was told that by venting the valve cover like this it lessens my chances for detonation caused by burning the oil that gets recirculated into the intake. Im running a nitrous application not a SC. Hope this helps.

Yes venting does help with detonation and yes from what i have read venting the vale cover does help, i'm looking at going a step farther, i want to vent the block itself, by taking out the pcv valve in the little black box on the back of the motor, and just run a elbow out of the blackbox and just run it down under the car, but i plan on putting little filter on both hose so oil wont go all over the car, just incase a little comes out from time to time. well i gues not to many people have blowers on here , i'll try it and post up if it works out.

my buddy just got rid of his blown gsr. He had a Jackson racing SC. The car wasnt that fast it ran a 9.3 in the 1/8. I run a nitrous lsvtec that smokes his car. Much respect for keeping it blown just make it right and make it fast.
