painting side skirts

so i got some milano red spray paint to paint the grey sides. my question is..how should i prep the surface? i guess im gonna clean it with dish soap and warm water but do i need to sand? also, will i need to put primer down first? im planning on doin this tommorow so quick replies would be appreciated!! :)

painted side skirts look great. i'm getting mine done while i repaint my hood and shave my bumper

yeah just sand and primer but be careful about it and take ur time. prep work is the most important
