painting lip question

I got my lip painted for 150, the sideskirts were free but I'm sure around 200 for sides, maybe 300 for both. but prices may variy, you might want to call bodyshop and ask, maybe they will cut you a good deal!

it depends on what you want as you will have choices. first it will depend on the material the lip and sides are made out of. the perfect way to do it is to blend it but that includes paint on half way up all the doors and quarter panels followed by the clear coat. same process for the front. the other is to paint them off the car. its tough to get it perfect but you will save lots of money. the main cost will be in the paint color. your blacks and whites are cheaper because its easier to get coverage...red and oranges/ peals or metalics will cost a lot. for the second option your lookin at around 300 and the first option around 800. personally the second option is the best since most shops that are half way decent should be able to mix the paint to the exact color. i just realized i wrote way to much haha. i am an auto body tech sorry, good luck and post some pics when you done!!

I got my entire front bumper and lip painted for $100, granted it's the same Mom & Pop shop that re-sprayed the entire car just 6 months before. It depends on who you know, the kind of paint you're using, and what sort of prep work is needed. I got my parts in that weird flat black / primer that most come in. So I just roughed it up a little bit and dropped it off. My front lip is permanently attached, so it was all sprayed as one.
