Painted my valve cover...finally (PICS)

I've been wanting to paint my VC for a long time now and i finally got around to it, I decided to use all OEM honda colors.

After Using Aircraft Stripper, Nasty stuff but works like a charm

Sanded down the metal

Tapped off all the holes

Put it in Primer

Tapped off the center section (A pain in the ass) And painted it Taffeta White

Tapped off the Right section and painted it Formula Red (Sorry for the glare)

Tapped off the left section and painted it Irish Green (never heard of it but I found it in an old honda color book)

All the base coats are finished, just need to clear it tomorrow, I know theres some overspray but since the spark plug cover is going over it I decided not to worry about it.

Pm Ricky/8urcivic and ask for advice. He should be able to tell you. I would think a dremmel but get reliable confirmation first as I have no experience in this lol.

I used Autocolor basecoat, the same stuff we use to paint cars at my work. The paint gun makes it so easy

looks good man, just take a piece of sandpaper to sand the paint off of the letters
