Paint Prices

ok soon il be getting a new front bumper and itr spoiler for the teg. While im at it im gonna get it repainted since it needs to be repainted,the to colors i was thinking was keelping it Black or painting it electron blue pearl like the 99-00 civic si.
Dose anyone have any ideas on how much the prices would be to just repaint it black or have it painted electron blue pearl?

repainting those parts or repainting the whole car? its impossible to give you an accurate quote on paint for a whole car...it all depends on how much you want to shell out.

the spoiler should be around $150-200...the bumper $350-500.

in my area it runs $400 per panel or +$3500 for the whole car unless you go to MAACO then it is around +$1k.

maaco shouldn't even be in your vocabulary unless you plan on getting it painted monthly so it stays nice, depending on the shop obviously but the whole car the same color with be about 2000 and a different color is going to be like 3500+. If you google JMI motoring, hes a pretty known guy here in Arlington and his prices are roughly that of what I said. Granted he's a very high profile painter so they might be a tad on the steep side, but paint is one of those things where you get what you pay for.

Honestly, if you planned on taking it to maaco I'd just buy like 15+ spray cans of whatever color you want and throw some clear over it. It will turn out better than anything maaco could do and it'll only cost like 100 dollars.

i dunno wat you guysa re talking about because i got my prelude repainted black for 1100 and it looked nice as hell unti lthe day i sold it.... and my buddy got his painted at macco, but not there cheap paint, he paid like 700 and it looked REALLY nice and lasted years. Just if you go to macco dont get their ambasador specail i think its called

I had my black car repainted black for 700 bucks. Guy did a great job, minor runs that are not easily seen. He did have to remove around 273 dents... sand the entire car and the whole works.

shit man thats expencive i was checkin paint at napa and for there highest grade paint for my car in red was only 304$ with the clear coat, reducers and everything except the primer . just go that route and then pay a shop a few hundred to paint it and do the body work yourself.

Ehhhhhhhhh to Maaco...:???: I wouldn't do it.

How much money have you invested in the teg and how much more are you planning on? If it's a lot, I'd say go look into a better shop. Don't waste your time or money. Getting a Maaco paint job can be compared to throwing cheap, E-bay parts onto your car, IMO. If you plan on selling the teg soon, I wouldn't worry too much about dishing out for a great paint job.
