p28 or p72

I have a jdm b16a in my GSR the reason is my b18c1 die on me and i had little money at the time and can only aford the b16a What i want to know is which ECU would work better and dont tell me to get a p30 unless you know someone who wants to trade for a p72

How come Greg? Wouldn't the P72 go apeshit when it couldn't open the secondaries?
Isn't the P30 the ECU for the B16A?

p30 is for the b16 but the p28 is for the single cam 92-95 civics. The p72 wouldn't do anything when it tried to open the secondaries. I'm pretty sure that the p72 has an earlier vtec engagement point so I would see that to be beneficial to the b16.

Yes, the P72 VTEC engagement is quite a bit sooner. The P28 would need to be chipped to properly run a DOHC engine

Yeah I'm pretty sure you can chip and reprogram any non-vtec ECU to run VTEC.

P72 has a knock sensor. If your b16 doesn't then it will cause problems.
