I have a 1991 integra and my car has been over heating. I have changed the tstat, cooling temp sensor and the relay for the fan. When i drive the car in the freeway it doe not over heat but when i drive it in the street the temp gauge needle will start to move up and also the fan doesn't kick in until 3/4 of the temp gauge. need help please.

when was the last time you replaced your water pump ,cause i have seen the blades of the water pump wear down to a point where they can't push water through the engine ,start there first and don't be cheap replace the tensioner if thats not it try flushing your radiator or replace it what ever works.good luck
