Over priced or not?

109,xxx miles
manual transmition

Well i ended-up spending about $1300.00 today at firestone.
They changed my water pump, timing belt, 3 other belts, and installed new pulleys = about $700.00
Installed new engine/torque mounts #12 left front, right front #14, rear engine #08 = about $550.00
Does that sound over priced?

I have no idea what a project like this should cost!!!
What do you think???

Sounds pricey. I would have done all that stuff at Acura for that price.

yea you got the big rip, but you didnt do it yourself so thats why. you could have easily done all of it and saved on the labor, which im sure was the grunt of the bill.

Thats about what it would cost, that's really not even a bad deal, considering most places charge $80 an hour labor, thats about 12 hours of work, figure it out. You pay for labor but, most people don't want to practice their mechanical skills on there only car.

all those are just time consuming, nothing you couldnt have done your self, accept maybe the timing belt.

i got my tranny mount and front mount done for $80.. parts i bought costed 250 for 4 mounts

ahh.....its about there with the rest of the places. acura wouldve probably charged you about $1500-$1700 for that shit. you couldve probably done everything yourself and bought better parts with the money you saved. i gotta still do my 90,000 mile service. its gonna cost me about $400 thats with me doin timing belt, drive belts, water pump and maybe fuel injectors, myself

I have a friend with a shop so I have access to one.....but I do alot of bullshit in the driveway which sucks! It's all about to change though. I'm about to get my mom's house.........full on baller status. Her house is all I want! It's gonna go down once this happpens. I slowed my GSX head build for a chance to get this house.......it is THAT nice! I can't let it get away. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Everything else is on the back burner for atleast another month

lol, I have my mom's garage... Once I move out I might have a garage. depends if we go into an apartment or a shitty house. (my buddy is living in a shitty house right now, and needs room mates next year.)
