on the road need help fast!

Ok so I stopped off because I noticed my thermostat is burried on c. I went to autozone and got a new thermostat but it dont fit what I believe to be the thermostat housing. Can anyone tell me exactly, preferably with pictures, where my thermostat is located? I'm driving cross country and need my car running right

follow the upper rad hose, and it will lead to the t stat housing

Follow your lower radiator hose to where it connects to the engine block.

I just took a picture of it from the haynes manual. Hope it helps. Good luck!
