oil sending unit

Was going to add a oil pressure guage to my integra by just removing the old sending unit and puting in the sending unit that i need for my guage. I was wondering if anyone knew where the stock sending unit is on the block.

never mind the red circle... its the nipple thing right to the left of the filter...there's going to be a wire plugged into the nipple.... looks like a rubber cone... u can just pull the wire with ur hands and then unscrew the unit...

Another thing is if i remove it and just put in a new sending unit will the stock oil light come on and stay on.

if you dont plug the sending unit in? are you talking about puttin an aftermarket oil sending unit for a gauge or something? if you are doing that, just get a sandwich adapter

do you mean just hook up the guage to the stock sendin unit that is on the car
