oil light

ok my oil lights on. sometimes dim, sometimes dark, and sometimes blinks.... so i changed oil, borrowed a buddys oil gauge, checked pressure and it seemed normal to me around 38psi idling and between 70 n 80 during driving.. installed a new pressure switch and the light still on...grrrr anyone got any suggestions?

Finally someone who has actually verified the oil pressure. It has to be the wiring then. The circuit must have a short in it to be lighting up on its own. Try unplugging the oil sensor, I bet the light still comes on.
