oil light

sometimes when i start my 92 gs-r the oil light comes on then slowly fades away. any thoughts on what would cause this?

How often do you drive it? Last time you changed the oil? What type of oil? Did you check the oil level?

its daily driven i use mobile one full synthetic 10w-30 and its about due for an oil change. i checked the level and its full.
