Hey guys i'm shopping around for my new teg and I found a nice 99 spec edition with 70k miles. everything is perfect the body, clutch, and it has falken zeeee's on the stock rims, very clean car. Only problem is there is no leaking oil anywhere but i found a little bit of oil in the exhuast(the tip area). After i test drove it for a bout a half hour there was only carbon buildup.the car ran very strong. my guess it was running lean but shit it still kinda bothers me , how did the oil get there in the first place? and yes it was oil it was thick and it was not the usual watery waste. anyways any ideas? thanks.

oil

might i add that, its a really slim chance that oil can get to the end of you exhaust system, unless someone placed it there. The only thing i can think of is that of carbon build up and moisture. It looks like oil sometimes, but its easy to tell. Or then again, could be a joke. a good one though. got me questioning myself, how did the oil get there. gooodluck.

Usually there is only one thing that can make oil get in your exhaust, and thats worn piston rings. Get a second opinion if its oil. I doubt it because oil that can get in the exhaust usually burns and wil give you blue smoke also. If the car pulls strong then I doubt that is the case. Also if it actually is oil, you will need damn near a whole rebuild and a new cat-converter.
