Oil Catch Can

Ok, so I'm running into a dilemma here... Before I got the catch can, I had the vacuum line from the PCV valve plugged and the nipple coming from the after market IM plugged because when I had them connected, the idle surged. Once I put the catch can in (valve cover to can, can to IM) the idle surges again. If I plug off the IM nipple, it idles great. Any thoughts?? :roll:

that is right, the vacuum goes to the top of the pcv vavle, breather goes to intake tube. by surge do u mean it just goes up higher in rpm? if so maybe someone tweaked the idle speed with out the pcv connected. i wud try a new pcv (only few bucks) n see if it has any affect
