Frustration is mounting.....lol
Bought the OBX tri y headers and will not physically mount in the '91 Integra. Any suggestions - do not want to start removing or modifying cross member, etc.

The DA has issues with a lot of header installations because if the cross member.

Should of researched that ahead of time.

Header, not headers.

The oem header is made the way it is to save space and reduce cost.

The crossmember can be modified to fit but probably loses all strength after it's been cut.

Take it to a shop and have then fabricate a slight bend or the sort to clear any obstacles.

You have to cut the crossmember or buy some type of traction bar setup, it's the only way on a DA.

Here, I even went downstairs and snapped photo for you. Man up, get a sawzall, and cut, just don't cut too far and it'll be fine.

I've had that like that for 10yrs and it hasn't caused any trouble .

^ what he said...if i believe the DA/DB1/DB2 wont allow a 4-1 header unless the cross member is cut like above shown..a 4-2-1 usually installs w/o the above being done.
