OBD1 or OBD2???

so im loking to get a teg but i cant make up my mind if i wana go with the 94-95's wich are obd1 or the 96 and up wich are obd2, just tryn to figure out with is better so can yall help me out please...thanks

OBD1 will be a lot easier for tuning, and easier to cheat emissions!,

If you can help it, try to get one that is OBD1 (92-95). If you cant, its not a big deal unless youre in california. If your state isnt strict about emissions, you can convert the car to OBD1 using a jumper harness and OBD1 ecu.

It doesn't matter which one you get unless you plan on doing some ECU manipulation. And of course, the emmissions levels are less strict for OBD1 when it comes to State inspection sniffer time, if your particular state even does that.

the good thing about obd1 is that u can chip it...with obd2 u cant...so yeah if u think about getting a different ecu then go obd1...alot easier
