Howdy CI, Im a new member and also new to doin a build thread lol..it's nothing to special but here it goes

I purchased my 1995 Acura Integra from a good friend of mine about a 2 years ago
Car had a stock ls with gsr trans that had no 5th gear.Jdm front end
with rare 2001 oem hid housing headlights
Motor was on boost for about 2 years and had unknown mileage.

Drove the car N/A for about 3 months before i went ahead and cleaned up the bay due to him
Not really caring for the car anymore

I Resprayed the bay and ..did a complete tune up and just tried to give a car little love in the bay since the Exterior looked so good =]

I decided to put the car on boost so i started piecing my turbo kit ,had a buddy with a boosted s2k and he wanted to change his turbo setup so he sold me his pretty much brand new precision 5857 only 2 months old

I ended up purchasing the old manifold and downpipe that were on the car before the kit was taken off
Spa top mount
3"downpipe
Also in the processes of gathering this kit ,I got my trans fixed =]
New 2nd,3rd,4th,5th ==]]
Picked up a Tial 38mm wastegate

(Lost alot of my pics in my old phone )
Picked up some rc 1000cc from a buddy for like 200 bucks

Had a buddy of mine powder coat an extra ls Vc I had laying around

So I was pretty close to my turbo kit being complete , i purchase a Tial 50mm bov and a couple more things I needed. Months passed and I decided to take the head off I was going to being using arp headstuds and I knew that this motor over heated before so I figured I would have it resurfaced at our local machine shop ..in doing this I hated that the bay was a different color from the car so I went and purchased some paint.
We have a local paint shop here that they can put any color code you give them in a can so i went (B-92P)night hawk black pearl)

Put the manifold and turbo on to see how it was going to look

I couldn't stand those ugly gt3 so i sold them and picked up some xxr 521's 16x8 205/45/16
Ventus 2's

It had already been 11 months and I wanted to put the kit so I grabbed what else was needed and went to my boys shop to put the kit on and get street tuned.

What should have taken 3 hours took about 8-9 hours alot of bs'n and stupid things kept going wrong. Another main issue was since it was a top mount and my turbo was so big the clearance from the radiator support to the housing was so small that the turbo was pain to fit in and the turbo had to be bolted to the manifold before it went in.
Spa top mount was a very good manifold, but not in my situation turbo to big and delayed the car from being tuned that day.

So we had finished up around 11:00pm and were beat ..so the next morning we would get this beast tuned

September 3, 2012 Labor Day
Headed to the shop around 11:00 am
It was about a 25 minute ride, car felt great but I made sure to stay out of boost
As soon as I arrived to the shop with I only being there for 5 minutes heard two radiator hoses pop ..I was like wtf
Not a great start to my morning =[
Got that issue resolved with in about 30 minutes

We went ahead and put the injectors in and new plugs. Well the car was being street tuned for about 15 minutes on 10lbs and was looking serious ..after only 20minutes smoke came out from
Under the bay ..we popped the hood and oil was everywhere ..
It looks like oil came rushing through the crank ventilation box ..oil light came on and was not a good sign at all
Check oil and levels were still good so we let the car sit and decided I would just go home and will figure Somthing out later the next day. I was already beat from
The day before and this just made things worse ..drove the car home going ridiculously slow just incase of anything ..and there it was the jehovah witness came a knocking. I didn't get in boost or anything oil pump took a crap and that was it I didn't even make it home ..car gave up on the highway (i95)

So I parked the integra for about 3 months , was pretty much about to give up on the car and my cousin had a ls he was getting rid of so I said screw it and decided to at least finish car .
Got my
Buddy to to tow the car to his house so we can use his lift and get this thing rolling

The lift was definitely a time saver

Well when I thought it was done and I would finally be able to enjoy the setup came to find out the turbo wouldn't not spool..we took it off and the turbine wheel was locked..FML

Next had to send my turbo to precision to see what had happend

=[
Recivied a call from
Precision advising that I had got contaminated oil ?????? The turbo just fell out of warranty so I had to cough up $300 bucks.

A week later ..

All new bearings ..new exhaust housing and turbine wheel

Ok lets try this one more time, turbo was mounted and ready to go

Well I had the setup running for about 5 months
until oil pump took a s*** and I spun a bearings.
People's butt dyno's were saying 300whp or right under it but I never got dyno'd so without that it was never known.=[
I couldn't expect to much out of a motor with unknown mileage.
parked the integra and decided to go on a hunt for a gsr.

I was going to do a new turbo setup
And was aiming for 400whp on e85
And yes it will be dyno'd this time =]

2 months later found me a bone stock
Gsr only had 75k miles matching vins and came with a bill of sale í ½í±￾
Compression test and leak down test were donebefore motor was taken out the car

Figured it was time to actually have a motor with vtec lol
Plans were to use a bone stock gsr
New Oem headgasket
New Oem gsr waterpump
New type r oil pump
Arp headstuds
Custom catch can setup (shiva)
Custom top mount (shiva)
Custom 3" dp (shiva)
Man does beautiful work

Wanted to clean up the motor cause it was pretty dirty

After degreasing the block and getting all the gunk out I used some

It gave it a nicely new look =]

I was like screw it ill do it to trans as well and see how it comes out

Since the motor was out of the bay I wanted to clean my bay do to the s***ty paint job I did with a can ..had a buddy of mine come through and help paint the bay nothing to special just to give it a better look

My arp headstuds came
And the rest of my goods from Honda
So it was time to start putting everything back together

Took my head to my buddies job to clean it

After the head was cleaned I was ready to put this thing on and get things going
I was getting pretty hyped felt like things were moving along nicely

I was looking for some after market cam gears cause I always wanted to do the moon cut ..so found some Aem tru time gears local and scooped them up

After I got them I wasn't to happy with them so I did some researched and came across some buddy club cam gears ..
Read up on some reviews and nobody really had any horror stories of belts jumping or belts snapping
So went ahead and ordered them

It was time to do the moon cut on the Vc
Purchased a 3 1/2" hole saw and marked 2 5/8 from where the end was and went to work

Came out fairly good , everything was on the motor so It was only time to put the Vc on and see how the end result would look like

Still needed to get my Vc powder coated so after I got my bungs welded on I dropped it off at my boys house later that week
Next day got a call and it was done ..yess

Put it all back together

So after motor had been put together I n still needed to find myself a manifold I wasnt going to use the stock gsr one..
Came across an amazing deal
Ported skunk 2 manifold.
Well in the process of trying to purchase this item . The man had a fully built gsr that had been assembled by jotech from CFT(central Florida turbo) ..we ended up working out a deal and i traded my stock head and came home with
The fully built head
Brian crower springs
Brian crower retainers
Ferrea valves
Full port and polish
Ported skunk 2 manifold ported to match the 75mm Bbk tb
Aem fuel rail
Head was in mint condition and was a deal of a life time .
Ended up being a super legit guy..
