Not Starting Problem

So over the weekend my 96 LS has broken down twice. They Both happened the same way. The First time my engine just cut off and when i tried to pop start it, it just wouldnt it sounded like a monster's belly angry. So i got it towed and it turned out my ECU fuse was blown. So i replaced it, the same day that i had replaced it the same thing had happened but no blown fuse. The scan tool is not getting any power to my OBD2 so im not sure what it could be. My mechanic believes that when i put a Deck in some wires had rubbed toghether that did not want to. ANy suggestions?

then pull it out and check for shorts, check ALL your fuses, even if like over head light, if one fuse is blown it will mess tons of things up
