not getting fuel

am new here so bear with me and my speling as well lol.......its a 1992 acura intergra 1.8 L DOHC 220, miles .....its not getting gas i took the fuel line off that go`s to the fliter the line that comes thur the firewall and no gas when th key is on .....and someone told me on a nother forum that it sounds like a main relay so i tired that and still no gas ......it was getting 12v for 2 secds like its post to then it drops like its post to ......i have come down to being the pump or something els .......i have look at the wireing dirg and looks like there is a wire that comes from the pump to the main relay from the main to the ecm .........ps if it would set for a few days and then u would try and start it it would start up and run for a few mins than it stalls and no gas no t hearing the pump run thanks

welcome bro definately sounds like the pump died i would replace that and the fuel filters as well that will most definately fix it

if you know how to look at a wire diagram, and you can figure out how to use it, I say run a jumper wire off the battery and see if you can make the pump turn. Check both positive and ground (I'm not sure if it grounds thru the tank itself or not.)

If you cant get the pump running that way, then its pretty safe to say that's what's wrong.

i did try that by putting dir 12v and still didnt hear the pump ....so now am pretty sure its the pump thanks
