Hey im travis,live in iowa. Looking for ideas on a build. Member of jdmcity but not finding alot of help there soi figured i would come over here to club integra for some real advice!

Well, coming in and saying, "I want to build a car" is as vague as it gets... What's your goals for this car? Do you want to track? Circuit, Autox, drag? Are you going to daily this?

Honestly I want a daily with some power. Nothing high priced, I was thinking of buying another block and building an LSV but was wondering if anyone else had ideas for cheap power.

Power isn't cheap, it sounds like you're looking for around 200 whp. Ls/V is cool, but it will cost building it, plus you need to make sure it's tuned well. Why not just find a Gs-R swap and build that on the side?
Plus, you're going to need to upgrade your gearbox, the ls box is crippling to acceleration. Plan on spending around 3 or 4k is you don't have connections for engines, tunes, parts, and builds

I was planning on spending around 3. I though about a gsr too but who knows. I got some info on a guy here at central imports that does an awesome job and is decently priced. And yeah probably 200hp, something to drive daily but still haul a little as when you want it to. If you had 3K for a build what would you do? I have been out of imports for years.

I've been focused on suspension, but we're in two different worlds, honestly. In the last couple months I've spent about that and still don't really make anymore power, just better gear ratios and handling
