If you buy a VTEC head that isnt bare, then no, you dont need cams. I have a link to an LS/VTEC how-to on my home computer. Ill post it when I get home.i think you need cams too

And from there you will need of course a vtec cylinder head, a VTEC ECU, proper jumper harness for whatever ECU you run, and you will have just have to wire up vtec and you are good to go!

$1200-1700 should cover the parts and labor. It all depends on what Vtec head you get, what set up you go with, if you build the bottom end(which I recommend), and how much the shop charges in labor(unless you do it yourself).soo total i can pick everything for around what price you think?? give me a ballpark idea
