noise from ?...

i just bought a 93 ls and only had it for a few weeks. the problem i have is that there's a tapping/grinding noise comming from somewhere in the engine bay?. it's only noticable when your inside the car and driving. not sure what it is, but when i step on the brakes the noise seem to go away but you can't here it from the outside so?. if anyone has any suggestion or have similar problems with this before i would really appreciate the help, thanks!

more than likely its just your heat sheild. just g to a shop and have them rip it down for you!

Yeah that happened to me too, the heat shield on the catalytic converter sometimes rusts around the bolts and it will vibrate and make a really ugly noise. Not sure if this is what you have but it's worth checking out.
