NO check engine codes, fried ecu??

i connected the plug wires to see the check engine light blink or whatever ant the check engine light just stayed on, my step dad says i probably fried the ecu by hard wiring the fuel pump to a flip switch.
This all make sense? im tired of fucking with this engine

Yes, a solid CEL means your ECU is bad.
Why would you wire the fuel pump to a flip switch? There is a relay and there are fuses for a reason.
Get another ECU and see if it changes anything.

well because i checked the fuses and replaced the main relay and the fuel pump still didnt turn on even when i just hooked a battery up to it proving the fuel pump wasnt bad. So i reconnected the fuel pump back to normal and i hooked up a new ecu and still had the solid check engine light... Im stuck. Im gonna try it agin tomorrow, maybe im doing it wrong idk?
