Hey Guys,

Just bought a 1995 Acura integra LS yesterday, completely stock, one previous owner with 83k miles on it. And sorry i don't have a picture yet.

Just had a few quick questions. I'm planning to keep it stock looking on the outside. So no exhaust, well as least keeping the stock muffler. But what are the general first things to change or do with the car?

For example:

I'm planning to change spark plugs and wires, oil change, and intake. What other simple things i can change or look for with the car.

My first Integra, and I'm loving it so far.

youre on the right track with plugs and wires. check your intake air filter and just clean it off. Also a cap and rotor would be another thing to look at. Also the timing belt and water pump will need a change soon :thumbs up

sounds great :). Anything else I should look at? is it normal to hear the fuel pump (priming?!?)going when i accelerate? Sounds like a stupid question. New to integras :)

You should hear the pump priming when you turn the car on. That is a good thing. You will probably also hear the ABS pump running when you turn the key on.

Stay with upgrading and trying to switch everything you can in motor to new, thats the heart, dont do what all the young kids do and start taking things off and painting them, and adding a million stickers, that doesnt improve your vehicles performance, I'm also pretty sure you'll want to drop the thing so take the time and do you homework on suspension,DO NOT HEAT OR CUT SPRINGS, then maybe some new wheels, then you can proceed to stage 2.
Stage 2 being?
