NEWBEE help location for gauge install!!

hi everyone i have 2000 GSR that im putting a little turbo kit together for my car but i want to install the gauges so that it not visisble i want to install the guages that have that has that dark film on it so when the car is off you can really see the guages....

well my problem is where to install them i do not want to install it on the pillar becouse its way TOOOO noticable and i dont want to cut up my dash by installing it it the dimmer spot or the cruis control... :lol: i want to insall it under the radio in that little slot whit tinted gauges!!
has anyone done that if so can you send me some pics or some advice on how to do it ( the instalation)or matirials to use in making it pleas!!!!!!
im trying to keep my car as clean as possible and as stealthy as possible

like i said if you guys can give me any advice on instaltion on how to do it i would greatly appreciat it

iknow that i am going to by buying street glow gauges that are 52mm big

Go with 2 1/16 autometer gauges. You can also get the trim bezel that holds two, wire the lights on a switch if you want to go sleeper at night.

nice idea... has any one tried installing it under the radio or a pop up version on the dash?

Just cut the tray so it fits snug, then make a little fiberglass cover for a clean look.

or you can even make it out of a woodblock and wrap it with some fabric of your choice.
(this is not my picture)

Pop up would be innovative. I took my pop out cig lighter converted it to a gauge pod for volt meter.
