Hello all. Ive been a fan of anything with a motor ever since I could walk. Ive previously had many ford mustangs, a falcon, t-bird. Due to a long commute, gas prices, and my brother in law finally coming off of his 94 GSR I am now an import enthusiast. I bought my 94 milano red GSR coupe about a month and a half ago from my brother in law whos owned it since 2000. It used to have the nickname "mosquito fogger" it smoked bad and was parked the last 2 years or so. I got it for 1k cash knowing it would at least need rings. I did a compression test and cyl 1 was dead, surprisingly the other 3 were over 200psi. Once I got the engine apart I found the culprit, My brother in law doesnt admit to it, but he ran through some water and bent the rod. So I got another gsr rod and piston, all new rings, ARP head studs, fel-pro top end gasket kit, clevite rod bearings, had the head checked and decked, new timing kit with tensioner and water pump. A couple cut up knuckles later and Im driving my new pride and joy. I have alot planned for her, but will have to take it as the money comes, damn christmas and giving, LOL. Here is a pic.
