New to Integra's

My Vtec goes "BWAAAHHHH"
Hey Everyone,

So basically brand new to teg's except for an 89 ls i used to own. Drove 3 hours to pick up a 96 DB8 teg for a sweet deal. Besides my 89 ls i have only ever owned civic's Hatch, Sedan, Coupe. I have always wanted a integra never had money to get one. so when i saw this one posted up for 3k i went for it. lol


Model: 1996 Acura integra Gs
Motor: B18c1 Vtec ( Not sure if the Gs model comes Vtec i only heard of them coming with b18b.)
Tranny:b16
Wheels: 15'' Prime wheels wrapped with bridestone tires
Exhaust: Stock as far as i know.
Headers: Looks like some Ebay headers.
Air intake:Looks like an Autozone or O'reily's brand
Suspension: Blox racing springs. (not sure if it has a stock camber kit or struts. seems to ride pretty smooth tho.)

And that's pretty much all i know about her like i said i drove 3 hours to pick her up and i think its been about 3 day's i have owned it.

no a GS does not come with vtec...that is a gsr swap you have there...nice setup with that trans too!

EDIT: wait I'm lost is it a GSR or a GS? in the first part you say its a DB8 but in the second part you say its a GS...in that case since its a 4 door i assume its a GSR in which yes it comes with a vtec

Guy i bought it from said it's a 96 integra Gs, but he could be mistaken for GS-R?

He didn't look to knowledgeable. and im new to Intgera's so i don't know specific models and stuff...

Check your vin. It should say something like jh4db8.... if it says db8, then its a gsr.

^^this....i think we know for a fact that its not a GS because i don't think they made 4 door GS's...so its either an LS or GSR (since those are the only 4 doors)

You bitch ass nigga, you have a b16 transmission. Nice find for that price. Swap out the eBay shit and those fugly wheels and you'll have a nice lil track car

DB8...Hey Hey picked up a 4dr GSR and i didn't even know it. lol

I don;t its bad for only paying 3000.

Yeah b16 tranny. Swapping out the Ebay parts is definitely on the top of my list. I want this to be Clean as can be.

Wasn't to big of a fan about the wheels either.

Yeah P/S and A/C are gone on my Teg, but i believe all the hoses are still there.

LOL...I have done it before. Give's your arm's a nice little workout. Since the hoses for P/S are still there i might put a new pump back in it.
