hows it going everyone. I just bought my first car, a beautiful green 2000 Integra LS. I hav alot that i want to do with, but im not sure where to start. Exterior? Interior? Engine mods? Im lost!! lol ive always been around nice cars and fast cars. the problem is all the owners were my brothers friends 10 yrs older than me. so i will welcome any help and or advice anyone is willing to give. thanks alot. take it easy.

thats right.
1)interior,
2)engine,
3)exterior.
Is the way to go imo cuz way to many people have cars that are all show no go... the interior is important and not that hard to make nice imo :D unless the exterior has lots of dents or needs paint its not that important... Yet... Plus flashy cars get noticed which means they get stolen... :( so buy a GOOD alarm first if u decide to do exterior work

you all wrong.....

maintenance.... all the fluids, compression test, pads, filters, etc.... I could list it all individually but im lazy. Your car will thank you. It will be more reliable and youll net a nice power bump. and increase a few other key performance aspects depending on how much maintenance you actually do

Btw I never said just let the car go to sh*t while u max out the interior I just ment he should make it nice and clean so it feels like a second home ;)... I would hope that he wouldn't skip doing PROPER mantenence on his new and first car lol... And besides speedin owns a subaru so why listen to him? hahaha jkjkjk :)

i hate maintenance...but yup, do what you need to do first

Welcome to the best corner of the internet..

What u need to do is start the maintenece.. THEN and ONLY AFTER that u start everything else..

While u are doing the maint part give youself a list of things u are interested in doing with your car weather it be interior, exterior, engine etc..

At your age I am guessing money is not plentiful so the list is a good way to write down a big list of what u want to do and knock off the cheaper things first and work your way up..

Successful builds take money, time and patience.. If you are really interested in doing something nice to your new car then mke sure u have time, patience and willing to drop the coin.

this man is such a genius!

welcome to the club. i hope you like it here. like speedin said, start with maintenance and then go to modding. i suggest you start with the engine and then focus on exterior/interior. if you make your car all show and no go your not going to earn much respect around here. but really probably the best way to go is to do it all at the same time little by little. your car/ your money. enjoy!

Thanks for the welcomes and advice! I will definitely invest in an alarm system. I live in a pretty rural area but better to be safe than sorry rite? I totally agree with the maintenance speedin. The dude i bought it from said he had changed the oil but i didnt rele trust wat he put in it so i changed it and the filter as well. It needs brakes so those are probly next. The next essential maintenances? Oh yea, washed and waxed the exterior and cleaned out the interior wit sum turtle wax ice so not to bad in there. I think i hear ya when u say rock out the engine first. The top 3 things on my list r 1) exhaust. 2) window tint 3) sound system. sound good anybody?
