New To Import - Help Me Please

ok I am new to this import thing. I have a 2000 integra LS completely stock. Now, I have heard it is easily possible to convert the head or the car to run v-tec. I need some truth behind this theory. Is the bottom part of the motor different at all with the v-tec or is it the head alone? And if possible to make this conversion, what would it take and where would I find the stuff?

Define "easily"? Personnaly for the cost it might be easier and cheaper to swap a b18c in if your set on vtec.

Honestly, the real answer is..."If you have to ask how to build an LS/Vtec, you probably shouldn't."

Like mteg said...drop a B18C in it if you're really that gung-ho about a Vtec build. There is no "easily" to building a car like that. It requires alot of prayers, troubleshooting, and tuning. You could easily spend more money on just labor and tuning than all the parts you'll need. You'll need ALOT of backup funds to fix shit when it breaks....things WILL break or not work correctly.

honeslty, you can't tell anyone to stop their build just because they asked how to do it. we didn't know how to do anything when we first got our tegs so why is he any different?

but what he needs to do is search first and do his own research before posting a thread about a build thats been discussed numerous times on any integra forums already. you have to learn for yourself first man before you run to others, you can't expect someone else to do your build so learn yourself, that could be a good/bad lesson for you on how to build your teg and you can learn from that. use this site8)
