New to CI and need help

I just bought this 1990 integra and already replaced the distributor but after i turn the car on my rpm bounces in between one and about half any info i can get to fix this problem

you probably bought a bad dizzy, where did you get it? take it back if you can

Check for any vacuum leaks.

I had this exact problem when the PCV valve was unhooked. The hose that goes in the center of the intake manifold and down through to the bottom of the engine. Take a look around for any vacuum leaks and if that doesn't work then read the link.
