New sub pounds

My friend and i were bored last night so we put my new sub in his car to see how it sounds before it goes in my gsr in spring. I was really impressed! We both thought it would hit but it was loud and really accurate. It's a alpine type s dvc w/ a sealed box. I can't wait to put it in my car once spring comes around i was impressed that a single 12 could sound that good. BTW a 600 watt amp was pushin it. I would reccomend any of the alpine subs they sound good :thumbs up

yea this single twelve is 10x louder than my 2 12's i used to have (rockfords) and w/ the sealed box it's really accurate too....i love it

Hmm...I can get discounts on Alpine, so I might have to look into that. I was debating on going with JL Audio.

yea i got a deal on it too i went into american to see what they had and it was some special sale they had on it. I got it for 90 bucks when they normally sell them for 150 :twisted:

I have 2 12" Soundstream and those shits hit hard as fuck....my windows are gonna break soon and the bass makes my eyes jump...there fuckin serious......and I have a Soundstream amp for the subs...with some brand new ecplise interiors that make the vocals sound so sweet.....and I have a Kicker 4 channel amp for all 4 interiors... and I have a capacitor for both amps....I spent almost $2000....just on music....that's half of what I bought my car for lol...
