New Posts button freezing on the homepage

Since we got the red part of the New Posts button added, with the posts/threads part, more often that not it's not working on the homepage. It just says checking.... and either takes a while to show up or just never loads even after minutes of trying. I have to click on the Integra Forums tag up top, and click on the New Posts button from there. Never had a problem with the button in there, just on the homepage.

same here, what browser are you using Bary?
im on Mozilla 8.0 on Windows 7. I admit it could be a browser issue, since mozilla 8.0 on this computer is super unstable. I can try Google Chrome on OS X lion.

i noticed that but on the home page i just go to the new post under my avitar and click on that, once im there the red new post thing works

im on my work computer the government paid for it...although i still prefer XP. this computer is too slow for windows 7

Yeah, my mom just got Windows 7, and I don't like the looks of it so much.

big d, I think you've got the right way to go until that glitch is fixed. At least now I know it's not just me, and now the Admin's are aware of the issue.

Yeah, its an issue I'm trying to figure out. It doesn't matter what browser you are using, it won't work.
