i Hate ricers.Keep it OEM
so if you've read my other threads...ive put a jdm itr front end on and a 98 rear bumper...im looking for a well known place to respray my teg black...since the original black paint is fading like a mofo and my jdm front end is red and white and the 98 rear bumper is green...there is also a dent on the driverside rear quarter panel corner where the body meets the tail light and bumper, that corner is pushed in about an inch ....im in desperate need to fix the dent and respray my teg black...ive been reading about maaco and ive heard good and bad stuff about their quality of work...makes me think twice about them...ive also read up about earl scheib ive heard good and bad things also....does anyone know a good paint shop or has personal experiences getting their tegs painted somewhere...pics and suggestions would be appreciated.....

i'm not from s.d., but if i were you, i'd take a look around a few local shops to get a feel for the work they create. that and searches on a review site.

or you could go to the dealer, and since they dont do it there, they would refer you to another place which would do pretty good work

How much are you willing to spend? I've heard good and bad reviews about Maaco too. And Earl Scheib... let's just say my friend's MR2 got his wheels and tires paint matched to the color of the car for free. They don't even prep the car, they just start spraying over the original paint. Shit quality if you ask me. I know a good shop near my area. The price will definitely be higher than Maaco and Earl Scheib, but you'll definitely be more than satisfied with the results. It's located in Temple City in L.A. County though. About two hours from SD.

id never take my car to maaco, no prepping and the paint looks like ass within a year.
x2! I'm going to have a legit paint job on the DB8. It's going to cost a couple grand, but it'll be worth it.
