After driving the car for 2 days i am annoyed by the sound of the exhaust its sounds like i have an aftermarket exhaust installed but i have the stock ones i'm wondering now that i might have a hole in my pipe. Has anyone experienced this?

UUUHHHH-OOOOHHHHHHH...!!!
^ if it hasn't been changed already. you're definitely pushing it at 100k otherwise lol check all the paperwork and maintenance records for the teg first.

it could be a swapped ls motor into a gsr body, you can check the vin number on the body

Yes check the vin. If you have a 4dr, it will read DB85 for gsr, and DB7 for ls/gs/rs. DC2= gsr/type r DC4= ls/gs/rs.

Theres some threads dealing with tune-ups and scheduled maintenance, which is pretty much what you are asking about. I'll do the searching for you since im such a nice dude 8)

It could it the whole car is LS, but the previous owner just put the badge on to impress ppl :)

welcome to the site, timing belt and water pump and a fresh tune up are also better choice before any mod

Are you sure its the stock exhaust? Some companies make exhaust cans that look like the stock one. There could be a leak, so you would need to get inder there and inspect it to search it out. Where did you buy the car? From a private party or through a dealership? The prior owner could have modified some components such as removing the catalytic converter and putting a test pipe onto it. Or the baffling in the muffler could be worn out and providing less sound dampening.

yes its a stock exhaust, and i bought it from a private seller. i checked underneath i saw the cat and it says honda. could be possible that i have a leak in my header coz i can smell the exhaust fumes from there.
